JAMboreé Chicago is a collective with the desire to bring further community to the birthplace of House Music.
Inspired by our favorite dance floor experiences, we intend to bring together all elements that made them memorable.
Through prohibiting camera use, while promoting intimate venues, immersive sound, and harm reduction education, we bring the focus back to the music and each other.
Please respect our Code of Inclusion. Violence, non-consensual touching, racist, homophobic, transphobic, sexist, ageist, or other disciminatory language and behavior are not allowed at our events.
In a world dominated by screens, we offer a rare escape. By placing a tamper-evident sticker on every phone at the door, we remove the pressure to “capture” the moment, allowing you to actually live in it.
The result is an atmosphere where the energy stays in the room, not on social media. It creates a space where you can dance freely, respect the privacy of others, and connect ear-to-ear with the community around you.
We honor the history of this city. Our mission is rooted in acknowledging the sounds that put Chicago on the map, driven by LGBTQ+, Latino, and Black voices.
Our curation focuses on the groove that brings people together. A dark room, a great sound system, and a collective heartbeat.
A true community looks out for one another. We are committed to harm reduction and creating a safe environment for everyone.
We encourage all guests to plan a safe ride home, respect personal boundaries, and dance responsibly. If you ever feel unsafe or uncomfortable at our events, please notify a JAMboreé team member.
